Building a new type of power system with new energy as the main body is an important part of ensu≥ring energy security and achieving sustainable development . In Dalian, Liaoning, the independently developed globally ®leading "all vanadium flow battery energy storage" technology has taken root, not only adding a huγge "power bank" to the city, but also providing new <impetus for the transformation of the local industrial and economic structure.

All vanadium liquid flow energy storage provides a green "power ₽bank" for cities

Entering the Rongke Energy Storage All Vanadium Flow Battery Production BaseΩ in Dalian, Liaoning, the first thing you see is rows of containers ready to b&e shipped. These containers that are about to be shipped to various €places are not ordinary shipping containers, but rather all vanadium flow battery modules. One is a  battery stack, and the other is a vanadium electrolyte. Two containers are stacke★d up and down to form a green energy storage station, which can store 3000 kWh of wind and so$lar power at once. If calculated based on a household's mo∞nthly electricity consumption of 200 kWh, it can provide a household with ε15 months of electricity consumption. Unlike common lithium-ion batterie♣s, lead-acid batteries, etc., all vanadium flow batteries not only have high safety, long cycle ₹life, but also are more environmentally friendly.

These containerized "power banks" can also be connected to each other, forming larger urban eneφrgy storage power stations. At the Dalian Flow Battery Energy Storage and Pea↔k shaving Power Station, the reporter saw larger containers neatly stacked, wiσth over 700 vanadium liquid tanks arranged neatly oαn an area the size of two football fields on the first floor. The second floor is a more integrated vanadium battery pack. The first national✔ level large-scale chemical energy storage demonstration project approve>d by the National Energy Administration was connected to the grid in May l★ast year and achieved full load charging and discharging by the end of October, with a ma₽ximum storage capacity of 400000 kilowatt hours. Based on the daily average electrici¥ty consumption of 2 kWh per resident in our country, this power station can meet the da✘ily electricity demand of 200000 residents. With so many device$s, at least three people are needed to complete the monitoring and operation of the entire ene♠rgy storage plant.
