Chloroalkali ion membrane, also known as perfluorinated ion membrane¶, is a special type of cation selective permeation membrane. Chlorine alkali ion membranes have advantages such as good c×hemical stability, good thermal stability, low resistance, good mechanical processing per"formance, and green environmental protection. They are <in high demand in fields such as fuel cells and chlor alkali industry. A₹ccording to different ion exchange groups, chlor alkali ion₩ membranes can be divided into three types: perfluorocarbonic acid sulfonic acid composit≤e membranes, perfluorosulfonic acid membranes, and perfluorocarbonic acid mem≈branes.
The main raw materials for chlor alkali ion membranes include carboxylic acid resin, §sulfonic acid resin, and fluorite. China is a major pro∑ducer of fluorite, accounting for nearly 70% of the global production™ in 2022. The advantages of raw materials will lay a solid foundation for the development of¥ China's chlor alkali ion membrane industry.
